Wayfinding Project
This project allowed me to experiment with a map-style grid. For this classroom challenge, I created my own imaginary zoo and icons of the animals in it. The icons needed to be geometrically based, so I took the creative step to base my icons on a crescent moon shape. The final step was creating a zoo map that folded up brochure-style. A combination of animal research and iconography was the ultimate skill-building goal of this project. What animals do you recognize below?
